Who this desk is for

If you play or work at your desk for hours at a time, sitting in one position all day starts to wear on your back and legs. This desk lets you change that with a button instead of a converter you have to lift. It suits a single-monitor or modest dual-monitor setup, a home office that doubles as a gaming station, or anyone who wants to stand for casual games and sit for competitive ones.

It is a straightforward, budget-friendly electric desk. It is not a heavy-duty commercial frame, and I would rather tell you that now than have you find out after assembly.

Key specs

  • Electric motor lift with an up/down control panel
  • Black steel frame with a brown wood-look top
  • Desktop size: 55 x 24 inches
  • Height range: 27.75 to 45.86 inches
  • Weight capacity: 176 lbs (80 kg)
  • Memory presets: 4, on an LED display control panel
  • USB-C charging port built into the control panel

Setup tips

  • Measure first. Check the height range against your own height. A good rule is that your elbows should sit at about 90 degrees with your shoulders relaxed when you type. Taller players should confirm the top height before ordering.
  • Plan your cables before you go up. Leave enough slack in your monitor, PC and power cables for the full travel range. A cable that is tight at sitting height can get pulled loose at standing height.
  • Use two people for assembly. The top and frame are awkward for one person to line up. Keep the hardware bags separate until you need each step.
  • Level it. If your floor is uneven, adjust the feet so the desk does not wobble when raised.

Honest limitations

  • Any standing desk wobbles a little more at full height than at sitting height, especially if you type hard or lean on it. Heavy monitors on long arms make this more noticeable.
  • Keep the total load under the stated capacity, including your PC tower if it sits on the desktop.
  • The motor makes some noise while moving. That is normal.
  • The top is wood-look, not solid wood.
