Description
Built for desk space, priced for a spare
The KL61 is the budget-friendly path into a 61-key layout. Same core idea as other 60% boards: less keyboard, more mouse room. You choose a color and switch pairing up front instead of hunting for a separate switch upgrade later.
Options on the listing
- Black / Green Switch
- White / Blue Switch
- Black / Red Switch
- White / Red Switch
- Black & White / Red Switch
- White & Black / Red Switch
In very general terms (not unique to this model): red-style switches are often lighter and quieter for gaming, blue-style switches are clickier, and green-style switches are usually a tactile/clicky feel. Confirm the exact switch labeling on the box if the feel matters to you.
Confirmed from the listing
- Compact 61-key 60% layout
- Wired USB connection
- Color and switch type selectable
Who this is for
Students, secondary PC setups, LAN-party spares, or anyone who wants a compact board without paying aluminum-case prices. If you want wireless or a denser, heavier board with arrows, the Aluminum 65% Tri-Mode is the step up. If you want magnetic switches specifically, see the NC61.
Living with 60%
Expect a few days of Fn-layer muscle memory. If that already sounds annoying, stop and read 60% vs 65% before you buy.
What’s in the box
Keyboard and cable.
