  Use wired when you want zero wireless variables for competitive play. Use 2.4 GHz for low-latency wireless at the desk. Use Bluetooth when you are hopping between a laptop and a tablet and can live with a slightly different feel.

Aluminum case, in plain terms

A metal case adds weight and a more solid feel than a thin plastic shell. It does not magically make every switch feel premium by itself, but it usually reduces hollow case ping and keeps the board planted when you type hard. It is also heavier in a bag, so this is more of a desk keyboard than a travel board.

Who should skip it

If you need a number pad every day, get a full-size or a separate numpad. If you want the absolute widest mouse swipe and never miss arrows, a 60% like the NJ61 or NC61 leaves more desk. If budget is the priority and wired-only is fine, the KL61 is the cheaper compact option.
